I guess one could technically count this as the first thunder storm of the year. Its been a good few months of drought, a few days of rain in between, but only one which lasted more than 10 mins.
Well… that’s not quite true. There was that one day which rained for a few hours some weeks ago.
Nonetheless, this is a welcomed storm.
I even saw a neighbour rushed out to spread some grass seeds on his front yard.
One almost forgets what a real downpour sounds like, or the tail end of it.

Never actually seen anyone busk in the streets of Houston. Saw this kid while walking along Texas Medical Center. Very, very decent. Maybe I’ll see him again and do a better recording.

I have been envious of iPhone users for a while, not because I think their smart phone is better, but because of instagram. Its just fun.
The new Market Place Application on the Android now has a category of photography apps, which makes it easier for me to search for apps that may be close to that of the iPhone.
Found a few, and here are some of the effects which are kind of neat. Still exploring.
So I got stuck at a rail way crossing, and thought I would just take a quick video for fun. A imagined silhouette of the traffic signs soon after the train passed prompted me to take a quick picture before the light turned green.
Its interesting to see how applying proper effects can change the perception of an image.
